Board of Directors

Preston E. Cobbs, Jr. (pcobbs@yesopportunities.org ) has many years of experience in marketing and employment relations. He is a graduate of University of Maryland University College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Masters degree in Media Production from Regent University. He and his wife, Dana M.J. Cobbs (danacobbs@yesopportunities.org ), reside in Northeast North Carolina. As members of Mount Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA, they are active participants in the Media Ministry. Their respective professions are in media (Preston- a media production manager) and web technology (Dana- online university professor). Dana serves as Webmaster and Technical Advisor for YES and the Board of Directors. She holds Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees in Computer Science from Norfolk State University and The College of William and Mary, respectively. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Patricia Anne Holmes - Chairperson, is a native of Washington, PA; and currently resides in Hernando, Florida. She is a retired Educator. Patricia has a BS Degree in Music Education from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA and a MAT Degree in Early Childhood Education, Trinity College, Washington, DC. She has done additional graduate studies at the University of MD, College Park, Maryland. Pat is also director/pianist for the Chancel Choir at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Crystal River, Florida. She is also a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Patricia works very closely with the President/Founder, planning and implementing various projects for YES. Theodore Holmes, her husband, is also very supportive and works very closely implementing all projects for YES.
